Pressing and cleaning can make a huge difference to comics grading. It can mean the difference between a 9.6 and a 9.8 – it can give you a grade bump from a 6.0 to a 9.0. It’s important to work with recognised pressing and cleaning experts so that your books are looked after and you have the best chance of improving the final grade.

It’s hard to know who to trust when it comes to pressing and cleaning your comics. Comics Keys works with Comic Press, one of the best comic book pressing and cleaning services in the UK, and we will submit your books as part of a monthly submission. A batch of comic books will be sent the first week of every month (which means, for instance, that if you’ve ordered pressing and cleaning in the second week of a month, your books will be sent at the start of the following month). These books will go into a queue, which can then take up to five weeks to be worked on. Please understand that Comics Keys has no control over when your books will be pressed and cleaned, but we believe it’s important to work with the best.

Once your books have been cleaned and pressed we will ship them back to you.
